Nature and Gorilla Trekking tour Uganda

Day 1: Travel to Bwindi National Park

It takes 7-8 hours to move from Kampala to Bwindi national park by road. You shall drive to the south-west of Uganda via masaka and Mbarara. Have a stop at the equator in Masaka and then proceed to Mbarara for lunch. overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi forest Uganda

After breakfast very early in the morning, head to the park head quarters fro a briefing by the park rangers about Gorilla trekking. It takes about 2-8 hours to find the gorillas but it surely depends on the movemnts of the gorillas that day i.e you may even see the gorillas with in 15 minutes if you have been so lucky - It all depends on the movements of the gorillas that day.

Day 3: Nature tour in Uganda on Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, take to the breathtaking beauty and soothing scenery of Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale with a stunning view of the beautiful Mount Muhavura ranges. For bird lovers, Lake Bunyonyi is home to several bird species like the African Harrier Hawk, Yellow-backed and spectacled weavers, Levillant cuckoo and lots more birds. In the afternoon, you will take a boat ride and visit some of the 29 historical islands, take a refreshing nature walk or enjoy mountain bike cycling in the surrounding hills. Dinner and overnight at the Bunyonyi Safari Resort.

Day 4: Transfer to Kampala and Depart

After breakfast, return to Kampala/Kigali, enjoy a picnic lunch en-route. Transit time 5 - 6 hrs
