01: Arrival

Upon arrival at entebbe, the driver/guide shall transfer you to the hotel. You may choose to take a visit to Ngamba islands and visit the habituated chimpanzees or go to the Botanical gardens in Entebbe

02: Transfer to Jinja Town - Visit Source of River Nile

River Nile is the longest river in the world; strectching from Uganda (east africa) to the mediteranean sea in north africa.
After breakfast at the Hotel, transfer to Jinja 2-3 hours drive from Entebbe. Enjoy the source of the nile with a beautiful scenery, white water rafting among other activities.

03: White Water Rafting or Source of the Nile

You will have a chance to enjoy a half day white water rafting adventure; then enjoy your lunch at the banks of the river. After lunch go to the source of the Nile for a canoe ride. Dinner and Overnight at Jinja Nile Resort

04: Transfer to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, we shall take a 6-7 hours journey to Kibale forest from Jinja. Kibale forest is famous for chimpanzee tracking and the Bigodi swamp tourism initiative by the locals. Bigodi swamp is one of the top birding spots in Uganda with over 100 bird species recorded here.

05: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale forest

You shall go chimpanzee tracking in the forest and along the way enjoy other primates you meet. Kibale forest has 13 species of primates recorded here - one of the highest primate densities world over.

06: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

This morning you will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park which is approximately 2-3 hours drive, be prepared for some incredible scenery along the way. This park protects 200km of Rift Valley Savanna, interspersed with patches of forest and crater lakes, an idea location for a safari. You will arrive in the Park in time for an evening safari boat cruise along the beautiful Kazinga channel. The boat cruise is a great location for photography, bird watching,or game viewing with such diversity of life supported by the channel; including hippos, waterbirds, lephants, buffaloes, nile crocodiles and the occasional leopard. Overnight at Jacana Safari lodge/Mweya Safari lodge/ Hippos Hill Camp/Simba Safari lodge on Full Board basis.

07: Chambura Gorge Walk

The Kyambura Gorge will be your first destination today. This 100m deep gorge is drained by the Kyambura river creating a microclimate that supports a dense tropical forest, very different to the savanna landscape that surrounds the gorge. Your guide will take you on a trek into this gorge, home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, including groups of wild chimpanzees which you might be lucky enough to see. In the afternoon your driver/guild will show you around the highlights of Queen Elizabeth National Park, giving you a chance to enjoy some of Ugandas finest game viewing . Overnight at Jacana Safari lodge/Mweya Safari lodge/ Hippos Hill Camp/Simba Safari lodge on Full Board basis

08: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Today you will be driven through the Western Highlands of Uganda onto Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is approximately 3-4 hours drive. Depending on when you arrive there should be time for an evening walk in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Overnight at Gorilla Resort/Silverback Lodge/Bwindi Community Bandas on Full Board Basis

09: Gorilla Trekking

You depart this morning for a trek into the depths of Bwindi National Park. You will be led by experienced trackers who will bring you amongst a family of mountain gorillas. The incredible primates are extremely rare; with only 720 remaining in the wild very few people in the world are lucky enough to see them in their natural habitat. Overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp/Lake Kitandara Camp/Bwindi Community Bandas - Bwindi National Park

10: Lake Mburo National Park

This morning you will be transferred to Lake Mburo. The flat river valleys of Lake Mburo National Park feature dense thickets of vegetation offering an fascinating environment for wildlife viewing. Depending on when you arrive you should have time for afternoon safari activities such as game drives, canoeing or walking. Overnight Mantana Camp on Full board basis

11: Departure

This morning you will be transferred to back to Entebbe for your next flight out.
