Uganda Culture Tour, African Safari

Day 1: Airport Transfer

On arrival at the Entebbe Airport in Uganda; your guide will meet, greet you and transfer to the Hotel.

Day 2: Travel to Western Uganda

The driver/guide will brief you in the morning at the Hotel and begin your journey to western Uganda. The Journey to western Uganda via Mubende boasts scenic views truly affirming uganda as gifted by nature. We shall check in at Ndali lodge.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking Tour in Uganda

After breakfast, head off to Kibale Forest to track Chimpanzees in Uganda; kibale forest enjoys one of the highest densities of primates in the world over with 12 species living here. Take a guide nature walk to meet the wonders of this forest. In the afternoon we shall go for a nature walk to Bigodi swamp; a home to over 100 bird species. The project at Bigodi is worth a visit to support the local tourism initiative.

Day 4: Community Tour - Toro Kingdom

After breakfast, set off to fort portal; full day shall be spent learning about the people and traditions of Toro Kingdom. Traditional music, dancing and story telling shall be part of the activities to enjoy on this day.

Day 5: Nature, birds and wildlife tour - Semliki valley

Semliki valley is Uganda's best birding spot, the park also enjoys beautiful views of the river semliki connecting to L. Albert, there is a lot of wildlife to view too.

Day 6: Culture Tour, people and community tour

We shall take a culture tour of the communities living at the foothills of the Rwenzori mountains; the Bakonjo - you will undertake a great discovery of the African culture on this trip. Also enjoy the traditional music and dances by the Bakonjo and Batoro communities.
Dinner and overnight at Semliki Safari Lodge (FB)

Day 7 : Travel from Semuliki - Kampala

Take a game drive in the morning and head off to Kampala, reaching Kampala in the evening. Over night at Hotel Africana or Windsor Lake Victoria Hotel (BB).

Day 8: Namugongo & Jinja City Tour

The guide shall meet you at the hotel in the morning and take you to Jinja; you will have a stop at the Uganda Matyrs shrine in Namugongo, Mabira forest for bird watching. At the source of the Nile, enjoy the beautiful scenery, watch crazy rafters in the rapids and later proceed to Jinja Nile resort for lunch.
After lunch; visit the Bujagali falls - another beautiful spot to visit, take a short tour of Jinja town with memories of the past colonial era seen from the architecture on the streets. Get back to Kampala later in the evening.

Day 10 : Culture Tour around Kampala

This day we shall visit the royal burial grounds of the Buganda Kings at Kasubi, the palace of the King of Buganda, the national museum at Kamwokya, craft shops among other spots and later transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
